Downtown Charleston Engagement Session

I always love ending my weekends with a fun engagement session, and yesterday, that’s exactly what I did! I met Alley and Richard for the first time last year at their bridal consultation. They were referred to me by a past bride of mine. It always makes me SO happy when my couples send their friends and family my way! I knew right away that these two would be the perfect SBP couple, and I had been looking forward to getting back together with them to take their engagement photos.

It was only fitting that rain clouds would loom above us during their engagement session. The first time I met them, I vividly remember there being a huge downpour. Luckily for us, the rain held off this time! As we made our way through the streets of downtown Charleston, we laughed and joked and talked about their upcoming wedding. Alley and Richard are such a sweet and fun couple, and even though Covid may have thrown a wrench in their original wedding day plans, these two remained laidback and happy as ever!

At the end of our session, it started to sprinkle some. Since I knew we already had a bunch of great photos, we went ahead and ended their session and headed over to 82 Queen for a celebratory glass of champagne. I must say that this was such a perfect way to end an engagement session! I’m starting to think that this is the way all engagement sessions should end! It was so nice hanging out in a relaxing atmosphere with them and having the opportunity to get to know them and chat with them even more.
