Mary Margaret + Matthew

If there was ever a wedding that gave you allll the Spring vibes, it would be Mary Margaret and Matthew’s colorful Cannon Green wedding from back in March. While I do love the classic feel of simple whites and greenery, the pops of color that their floral provided had me dreaming of the warm Spring days that were to come. With pinks, yellows, purples, and oranges (yes! the fruit!), this beautiful, relaxed, colorful Cannon Green wedding is sure to provide some inspiration for a playful color palette.

Mary Margaret and Matthew said they were drawn to me and my work because of my two Golden Retrievers. It seems we share a ridiculous amount of love for the same breed (they too, have two adorable Golden Retrievers).  I knew that these two were going to be a great SBP couple the moment they told me that. They solidified that even more when they brought Moose to their engagement session (they didn’t have their second pup yet). While their dogs were not part of their wedding day, they certainly weren’t forgotten. Between Matthew’s socks with their dogs faces on them and photos they had printed out and scattered around the Trolly Room, it’s safe to say they found a way to include them.

The Wedding Day

Matthew and Mary Margaret exchanged vows at Cannon Green surrounded by their friends and family. Mary Margaret looked so chic with her updo and beautiful gown as she walked down the aisle. After a short, to-the-point ceremony, the two walked back down the aisle together as Mr. and Mrs. Hayden. After some quick “just married” photos, we sent the newlyweds back to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. I can’t stress enough how obsessed I am not only with this sweet laid back couple but with the wedding design too. I can honestly say that until their wedding, I’d never eaten part of a floral arrangement… but MAN am I glad I tried it- those oranges were the best I’ve ever had!

A Letter to the couple:

Matthew and Mary Margaret, thank you both for the opportunity to catch such a beautiful day. I loved seeing you both again and meeting all of your family and close friends. You two are so sweet and amazing, and I wish nothing but the absolute best for you two! Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Hayden!!
