Picnic Engagement Session

What’s better than bringing your dog to your engagement session? Glad you asked! How about bringing your dog and having a picnic engagement session! That’s exactly what Claire and Zach envisioned for their engagement session because their adorable pup, Myla and picnics are both special to them. Myla for obvious reasons, but picnics are special because that’s what Claire and Zach used to do together when they lived here in Charleston. Let me just say, this picnic engagement session has it all; Myla, champagne, picnics, a beautiful couple, and cobblestone! What more could you ask for?

I was so excited to finally meet Claire and Zach in person, so you can imagine my slight feeling of defeat when I looked at the weather and saw that in typical Spring time fashion, there was rain forecasted to start right around when we were planning to start photos. Armed with bubble umbrellas and a waterproof picnic blanket, we decided to push through anyway, and boy am I glad we did! We managed to get a good amount of photos before a wave of rain came. Luckily we were finishing up downtown anway and about to head over to Hampton Park. By time we got there, the rain subsided and we were once again, good to go!

Claire and Zach are a naturally beautiful couple, but dare I say that Myla may have stolen the show in a few shots. I’ll let you be the judge of that though while you go look through some of my favorites from their session below!
