Charleston in July is a whole new level of HOT. So when Amanda and Colin decided they wanted to forego an outdoor engagement session and find an indoor location, I completely understood (and was grateful!!). After virtually no luck with the locations they had initially wanted, we were able to get permission to use The Dewberry! Please remember as these types of shoots are becoming a popular request, that obtaining permission and signing any waivers/contracts is important!

Amanda and Colin’s engagement session at The Dewberry is officially one of my favorites to-date. It isn’t very often I get sessions like this that challenge me to expand on my creativity, but when I do get that opportunity, I get excited! When discussing their engagement session, Amanda told me that she wanted a swanky/timeless type of session, and I think we succeeded in making that happen! Amanda and Colin were so much fun to work with, and totally nailed their session. These two have a whole vibe and honestly, I couldn’t imagine this session anywhere else!
